Exploring the Trendy Area of Seongsu-dong, Seoul 🇰🇷

This marks the final part of my SEONGSU stroll series.Let’s wrap it up with a visit to some of my favourite spots—select shops, accessories, and lifestyle goods that totally captured my heart.I just went, and I already want to go back!

SEONGSU TRIP 3

First stop: POINT OF VIEW, a three-story stationery and lifestyle shop.

POV inside

From the ground to the top floor, the shop is filled with beautifully designed cards, pens, notebooks, gift wrap, and other daily-use items. They even carry Japanese brands—clearly very popular here.

POV cards

Each floor is carefully curated, and you can take your time exploring every corner. There were lots of international visitors too. The first-floor card section and POINT OF VIEW’s original goods were especially crowded.Head upstairs and you’ll find charming interior decor items as well—definitely worth a slow stroll.

While there, I came across a pop-up by the bag brand ATHÉ in their courtyard.

The staff spoke Japanese so fluently and warmly introduced each item—it left such a lovely impression.

This adorable bunny-like backpack was a popular pick!

Next stop: BEAKER (Sorry, there is no photo), a select shop I’ve visited in Apgujeong, but this was my first time at the Seongsu location.

The staff were in the middle of rearranging the visual displays, but it added a nice behind-the-scenes feel. With brands like AMOMENTO, TEKET, and Open YY, plus cool sneakers and lifestyle goods, it’s a fun shop for everyone.

Just a short walk from BEAKER is fennec.

So many bags in all sorts of colours and sizes!Their light nylon bags were a hit with the girls browsing—soft and easy to carry.

fennec pocket
One bag even had a pocket perfect for K-pop photocards, giving major schoolbag vibes.

Downstairs, they have wallets and card cases, all at friendly prices.

Then, I visited the TEKLA homeware pop-up, which ran until October 27th.

I just had to see the dreamy pillow tower!

The pop-up may be over, but you can still find TEKLA’s regular items at BEAKER.

Final stop: cafe onion Seongsu.

On our way back towards the station, we passed a kalguksu noodle place before arriving at this super popular cafe.

The weather was perfect—an ideal ending to a lovely walk.

drinks
I ordered All Kinds of Berries in Soda and just relaxed.

I thought it’d be hard to find a seat, but luck was on my side!

And here is a tip: Many Korean menus use shorthand like “8,0” instead of ₩8,000, which somehow makes the math feel easier.

Pâtisserie
As tempting as the pastries were, I resisted in anticipation of dinner!
